This present job is MacBook Pro laptop (Aluminium) case being upgraded from Mac OS Snow Leopard 10.6.8 to OS X El Capitan and then hopefully upgradeable again to up to OS 10.?.13 the maximum possible upgrade for this laptop. This laptop was not compatible with web browsers so the owner could watch movies on Netflix. So hopefully the OS upgrade will change that... hopefully.

Next job was recovering files from working hard drives owned by an ex newspaper owner and copied onto this old non working laptops good hard drive. Job done and the laptop hard drive is now in a low cost external enclosure which looks like a million bucks kind of black and gold box bought from China some years ago. These work ok and some of them need resoldering to work efficiently. Job done.

I finished the $4000 PC cleanup and repair. The owner told me it would not start up and the power supply may have failed. I removed and tested the power supply and found it to be in perfect working order but later found a $2 part replacement was the problem. I cleaned the computer inside and out and all the filters were removed and vaccumed to remove all the dust. Job finished.
