This one's for all members who shop at New World, 4 Square, or Pak'n Save - and we know that's a LOT of you!

The old New World Club Card and other loyalty cards will be phased out on 27 June and replaced with the Club+ phone app which works at all three.

The new system assumes that you: *have an email *have a smart phone *will sign up online *will download an app on to your phone, *will use your phone app each time you shop.

GOOD NEWS ... PLASTIC CARDS ARE STILL AVAILABLE!

If you need (or simply prefer) a plastic card, you can either:
* order one when you sign up online (https://www.clubplus.co.nz/new-world)
* ask at your local branch (note: our experience is that some are more helpful than others)
* phone 0800 80 70 70 and leave a message for a real person to call you back to help you

The cards can take 3-4 weeks to arrive, so apply as soon as possible if you want one.

Police advise people to:
• Never follow instructions to leave your bank cards or personal information in your letterbox or outside your home.
• Do not provide your PIN, passwords or banking details to anyone over the phone.
• If you are unsure, hang up and contact your bank using the official phone number, or the phone number recorded on the back of the bank card.
• If someone contacts you claiming to be Police, you can verify this by calling 105.
"Police are asking family members, neighbours and caregivers to check in with elderly or vulnerable people and ensure they are aware of this scam.
"By doing this, you could potentially stop someone you love from becoming a victim."
