The Property Inspectors
It is quite common for people to be in two minds about whether they require a property inspection on a new build. Although scheduled inspections are undertaken throughout the construction process, sometimes things slip between the cracks.
The video below taken at a new build we have recently inspected demonstrates poor planning and installation of a shower over bath. The water collecting between the bath and the wall has nowhere to drain. Over time this will not only promote mould growth but have a much higher risk of leaking.
Multiple trades and inspectors have seen this and taken no action to resolve it, highlighting the importance of an independent review of your brand-new home.
