Pride week is coming up! 🏳️‍🌈
Next week we’ll be holding events all week.

Monday - Post it pride! We will be asking students questions around pride eg how do you show pride?, Why is it important to be proud of your identity? Then these answers will be displayed in the info comms

Tuesday - Flag Quiz! A kahoot will be run through tutor time around the pride flags and what they represent

Wednesday - Insta pride! We’ll be walking round school with a frame taking pictures for our instagram! Along with a tutor period activity with pssp and fairy bread

Thursday - Let’s Chalk! We’ll be asking the student body to chalk outside s block about what pride means to them!

Friday - Pride Inside! The prefect team and fairy bread are collaborating to bring you rainbow theme lollies and drinks - don’t forget your money!!

On Friday the prefects and senior students dressed up in bright colours and Pasifika dress as a part of our fundraising for Tonga!! Collectively we raised more than $200 towards buying stationary and equipment to add to our growing collection donated by students. We also did a collab with the prefects at One Tree Hill College who came through with 3 car loads worth of donations to add to our own. Keep bringing donations to the info commons throughout this week!! Bringing something small - like a book, is better than bringing nothing at all. 🇹🇴
