Meet Rosie 🐾🐶

Rosie is a 4-year-old female, desexed Springer Spaniel. She spent over a week in the care of our ARC North team trying to get her over a number of gastro-intestinal conditions that had her feeling pretty miserable and unable to keep food and water down. Thanks to the care of our internal medicine team, and her devoted owner (who happens to be a veterinary nurse!) she is home again, happy and healthy.

This is what her owner had to say about her experience with ARC Vets as a pet owner:

"I cannot speak highly enough of the Animal Referral Centre Albany and the incredible team who work there. From the very beginning, their level of care, compassion, and professionalism has been outstanding. It’s clear that every single staff member genuinely loves what they do and treats each patient as if they were their own.

A special thank you to Dr Ryan Cattin from the internal medicine team, who has been absolutely incredible throughout this journey. His expertise, kindness, and dedication have made such a difference, and I always felt confident knowing my dog was in his care. I also want to acknowledge Amber, his head nurse, who has been so loving, compassionate, and supportive every step of the way. The care and attention they both provide is truly exceptional.

The communication throughout our experience has been exceptional. I was always kept fully informed about my dog’s condition, the possible outcomes, and the treatment plan moving forward. They took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, which made a stressful situation feel much more manageable.

Visiting my dog, I was consistently met with kindness and support from the team. They created such a welcoming environment, not just for the animals but for owners as well. It truly felt like we were being looked after every step of the way.

Most importantly, my dog was so comfortable and at ease in their care, which says everything about the environment they’ve created. The dedication, attention to detail, and genuine compassion shown by every staff member is nothing short of incredible.
