๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™€๏ธ Our Travelwise Leaders Take the Stage! ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿšฆ

In today's whole-school assembly, our fantastic Travelwise Leaders took to the stage to deliver an excellent presentation about keeping our community safe.

They spoke directly to our students about how busy the school gates and parking areas can get during drop-off and pick-up times, and they promoted some wonderful, safe alternatives for getting to school.

Our leaders are encouraging everyone to try these safe options:

๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธPark and Walk: Parking a little further away from the school gate and walking the last few minutes together.

๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธActive Travel: Walking to school with friends, or riding a bike or scooter (remembering to always wear a helmet!).

This is just the beginning! Watch this space as our passionate Travelwise learners take action directly at the school gates starting in Term 3 to help keep everyone safe.

Thank you to our leaders for stepping up and looking out for our school community!

๐Ÿฅ‡ What an amazing way to start a Friday! ๐Ÿฅ‡

This morning, we officially launched the PVS Commonwealth Games! It was an incredible experience for our learners, who were walked into the hall to the sound of the bagpipes.

๐ŸŽถ A HUGE shout-out to Ricco for playing the bagpipes for us! You did an absolutely amazing job, Ricco, and made the morning so special for everyone! ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ๐Ÿ™Œ

To help support our childrenโ€™s learning, they will be discovering how the Commonwealth Games bring together athletes from over 70 different nations and territories every four years to compete in the spirit of friendship. Known as the "Friendly Games," it is a unique event where para-sports are completely integrated into the main competition, showing our learners a wonderful example of equality and inclusion. This supports our school value of RESPECT.

Our fantastic Whฤnau Captains led the special assembly, where each class drew a Commonwealth country that they will be learning all about in the coming weeks. It is such a wonderful opportunity for "learning together" and bringing our school community closer. ๐ŸŒโœจ

The countdown is officially on! Watch this space as we prepare to hold our very own PVS Commonwealth Games on Friday, 31st July! ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ…

A huge shout out to the amazing team, who have got this all organised making PVS such a special place to be!

๐Ÿ“… Three Way Conferences: Bookings are Now Open on Hero๐Ÿ“…

Bookings are now open on the Hero app for our upcoming Term 2 Three Way Conference!

These conferences are a fantastic opportunity to check in, discuss your child's progress, and ask questions about their achievement in relation to the new Ministry of Education reporting requirements.

This is a shared learning journey, so children attend the conference alongside their whฤnau. It is a wonderful time for child, whฤnau, and teacher to come together and celebrate their hard work and progress.

๐Ÿ“ฑ How to Book
Please log into your Hero App, check out the date and times. There is also information to show you how to make a booking, via the school bookings section in the App.
