The great conjunction in Virgo! It's all happening at the moment in the sign that rules health, formal learning, written communication, physical well-being, medicine and travel.

Mercury, ruler of the sign is applying to a conjunction with the Sun, meaning that clarity of communication is compromised. We may find it harder to communicate effectively in a way that leads to a positive result.

Mars and Venus are also under the Sun's rays and with Venus already in a weak state in the sign, this means that care, love, peace, harmony and relationships are under attack. It takes hard work at the moment to maintain peace.

Mars being weakened will ease up on the drive for perfectionism, however this is also coupled with some anxiety that is not managed well. We may feel that it's okay to mess up, only to wake up the next morning feeling anxious and upset about doing so!

The Virgo duality impacts the influence of all these planets and things can go either way... a calm and friendly family lunch can turn into a family feud. An exciting trip, can turn into a disastrous event. Or you may end up deleting some of the best work you've done in a long time, totally by accident.

Time to take care and focus on what we are doing. Pay attention to thoughts that come suddenly and bring clarity as they may disappear just as suddenly. Learning will need to be repeated and where possible left for another week or two! Distractions lead to disappointment.

Retrograde Saturn trines the conjunction, so structural integrity and work ethic suffers too, not providing much support for our ventures and activities that require discipline. It may feel as if everything is chaotic and mismanaged at the moment. Ride it out and look for the positive experiences that bring some relief in the form of sports, arts, spirituality and being outdoors.

With Venus in Scorpio we may tend to internalise a lot of emotions. This is not great for dealing with things. Best to confront those hidden feelings at the moment to clear the air and allow clean thoughts and energy to fill our beings. There is a tendency to be a little self centered and selfish at the moment; there is time to car for ourselves and we need to do it - regenerate and build up your personal confidence and power again. However, when you step away from this empowerment, take the necessary action to make a difference in someone else's life - share the love!

For those who are keen to explore the reaches of their sensual romantic sides, now is the time to do so, without boundaries - go for it. Be true to yourself and you will attract that which you crave.

This is a time of balance - physical-emotional and spiritual- expressional. Find your centre of gravity and being in the maelstrom of feelings and thoughts. It's good to be centered and real.

The Sun is in Leo now for the next month, where it is strong and effective, delivering praise, honours and rewards to those deserving. Public enterprises are active and visible at this time, but losses and value destruction is likely, especially related to technology, software and humanitarian issues.

On the 27th Mercury once again stations retrograde, joining Saturn and Mars in their seemingly reverse motions. This time the retrograde is in Leo, indicating more challenges related to public communications and marketing as well as travel. However, those prone to talking about themselves often will show their true colours, attempting to draw all eyes to them. This may well backfire as they will be exposed, often for the shallow self-centered people they are.

The Full Moon in Aquarius this week will be conjunct a retrograde Mars, highlighting violence, accident and ill fortune. If you expect a repeat of an ill event, the next day or two will reveal much. Do not be on the back foot.

Venus and Jupiter cooperate to bring some benefit and sensibility and fun to private matters, but the effects are not long lasting so enjoy it as it happens!
