The Challenge:
Tri Star Gymnastics was operating with an audio system that was difficult to manage, cumbersome to use, and presented potential health and safety concerns within an active training environment. Equipment and cabling created unnecessary clutter, impacting both usability and the safety of athletes using the space.

The Solution:
AAE designed a streamlined audio solution that consolidated system controls into a single keypad and introduced Bluetooth functionality for greater flexibility. The installation also incorporated an audio network with speakers permanently mounted to the wall, removing floor-level equipment and loose cabling. There's a LOT of chalk in a gymnastics gym, so we also had to factor in protecting the control equipment.

The Outcome:
The upgraded system is intuitive and easy to operate, giving users the freedom to connect and play audio with minimal setup. By relocating speakers and managing cabling, the installation eliminated safety risks while creating a cleaner, more functional environment for training.

Since entering the Pro Audio and AV industry in 2019, John has delivered integrated solutions for corporate environments across the Philippines. With certifications and experience across Q-SYS, Crestron, and Dante platforms, he brings strong technical capability and a solutions-focused approach to system integration.

John’s passion for AV grew from his background in music, playing guitar and keyboard as well as producing music. That experience sparked his interest in Pro Audio and streaming technology and ultimately led him to a career in AV. Outside of work, he enjoys movies, exploring food spots with his wife, and pickleball with friends.

We're excited to have him on board and we can't wait to see the contribution he'll make as we continue delivering reliable, future-ready solutions.
