The drainage system at this property seems to be blocked as the wastewater water was coming out of the gully trap. The homeowners contacted us to clear up the issues as they were not able to use the kitchen sinks, showers, and toilets. Our drain technician as always, started with a CCTV inspection of the drain. We ran a thorough drain inspection but we didn't find any blocks inside the drain pipes. The best next thing to check was the pump station. When we checked it we found that the pump station motor was blocked by food fat. Due to this, the pump was not able to pull the water from the pump station to the council sewer line. We then used our hydro jet to clean the pump and removed the hardened food fat lying inside the pump station so as to further blockages. Once we put back the cleaned pump, it started pulling the wastewater from the tank to the sewer line, resolving the blocking issue. The whole job was completed in an hour. The homeowners were extremely happy with our swift service.

Blocked Sewer Line in Henderson, Auckland

The sewer line of this property was completely blocked causing difficulties for the tenants. The tenants were experiencing severe problems like slow draining of wastewater in sinks and shower drains, foul smell, and, frequent toilet plunging. Upon request, we ran a CCTV inspection of the sewer line and found tree roots at the end of the sewer line where the sewer pipe connects with the council sewer line. We then used our special root-cutting jetter nozzle to cut the tree roots inside sewer lines. We also checked the inside of the sewer manhole to make sure the tree roots were completely removed. Once the tree roots were cleared, the drain was restored to its normal flow.
