Stores and Assembly Staff Required

Pyramid Engineering is a modern ISO registered manufacturing and precision engineering business based in Silverdale.
We currently seeking a motivated experienced person to join our Stores and Assembly Team.
OVERVIEW:
This position requires a person who has knowledge in both the stores environment as well as being able to assist with the assembling of machinery to specification.
RESPONSABLITIES:
• Assist our current Storeman with the daily functions of our stores. Stock control, Delivery, Collection, Planning for our driver etc.
• Assist our Assembly Team with the building of machinery to customer specifications.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Full training will be given to the right person; however, the following experience will be an advantage.

• Experience in a stores/warehousing environment. Understands stock control, planning etc. Ostendo knowledge is preferable.
• Experience in basic fitting and machine maintenance essential. Understands requirements of fitting bearings, correct use greases and lubrications, torque requirements for tightening fasteners etc.
• Ability to read and work off Bills of Materials and Assembly drawings
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Most important a good attitude and willingness to learn. All training will be provided.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• This is for a permanent full-time role.
• Must be eligible to work in New Zealand and be able to start immediately.

Part-Time Truck Driver Required

• H.T License not required.
• Clean Full Driver’s License required.
• Confident securing loads.
• Good knowledge of Auckland area required.
• Three days a week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday occasion extra time may be required.
• Potential factory work available if desired to fill the rest of the week.
• Long term position for the right person.

CNC LATHE MACHINIST

Pyramid Engineering is currently seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team.
Pyramid Engineering is a precision manufacturer based in Silverdale machining prototypes and production components throughout many industries. We have a modern shop with the latest machine tools that is constantly growing to keep up with our customers.

OVERVIEW:
The CNC Lathe Machinist role here at Pyramid Engineering is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of CNC machining and programing operations. This role is tasked with working with a supervisor and team to increase productivity by optimizing machining programs and procedures.

Note: This is NOT an entry level job (no push button operators or parts loaders) candidates will be tested.

RESPONSABLITIES:
• Responsible for setting up, operating and programing a CNC Lathe Multi Axis machine
• Must be able to complete machining operations from drawings and/or verbal instructions
• Must have experience with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials
• Make machine adjustments that may be required, check dimensions, etc to insure conformance to drawings
• Set up machines to precise tolerances and operate various types of machinery in production following established procedures
• Select proper tooling to preform required manufacturing operations
• Machine precision fixtures, tooling and product from drawings, in accordance with establishes procedures, with limited supervision

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 2 years of experience in set up, operation and programming of CNC Lathe Multi Axis machines

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Mazak experience would be an advantage

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to read and work off of manufacturing drawings
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
