๐Ÿ’ปโœจ Girls Can Create the Technology of Tomorrow! โœจ๐Ÿ’ป

Did you know that some of the world's most successful technology companies have been built and shaped by women?

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ’ป Melanie Perkins from Australia co-founded Canva, a platform used by millions of people around the world to create presentations, posters, social media graphics, and more.

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ’ป Marissa Mayer from the United States was one of Google's early engineers and helped develop products such as Google Search, Maps, and Gmail, which are used by billions of people today.

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ’ป Susan Wojcicki from the United States helped grow YouTube into one of the world's largest online video-sharing platforms.

Coding isn't just about computersโ€”it's about solving problems, creating new ideas, and building tools that can impact millions of people.

At Skill Samurai, we encourage our students to explore coding, technology, and STEM in a fun and supportive environment๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ’ป

๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ”„ Our students learn coding logic and how LOOPS help programmers make computers repeat tasks automatically.

Instead of writing the same code again and again, a loop can run it multiple times with just a few simple lines. This saves time!

In the example shown below, a simple loop in Python makes the computer print "Jump!" five times.

While learning loops, students develop:
๐Ÿง  logical reasoning
๐Ÿ’ก efficiency

As their skills grow, they use loops in projects such as:
๐ŸŽฎ games with moving characters
๐ŸŽจ animations with repeating actions

Loops are one of the most important concepts in programming and are used in almost every real-world application. Learning concepts like these helps students build the foundation for more advanced coding projects.

One of our 6-year-old students has been working on coding projects to help develop his logical thinking skills. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’ป

Last weekโ€™s lesson was about REPEAT LOOPS. While building a game, he kept writing the same coding block over and over again to make his character move. The teacher then showed him how to use a โ€œrepeatโ€ loop instead.

Instead of repeating the same instruction 10 times, he learned how to achieve the exact same result with less work and in a shorter time.

Thatโ€™s something many parents donโ€™t always see behind coding classes. Children learn how to think logically, recognise patterns, and solve challenges. These are skills for thriving in the future๐Ÿš€

๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿš€ In one year of coding, our student has gone from learning the basics to building his own games ๐Ÿ‘โœจ

During Term 1 and Term 2, he focused on foundational coding concepts through block coding projects. Each project gradually became more challenging, helping him build confidence step-by-step while developing logic, sequencing, and creative thinking skills. ๐Ÿงฉ๐Ÿ’ก

By Term 3, he was ready to move into Game Development Level 1 ๐ŸŽฎ There, he started learning how games are actually created โ€” designing gameplay, creating interactions, and understanding the coding behind the scenes.

Then in Term 4, he took another big step into Game Development Level 2 ๐Ÿš€โœจ He began creating more advanced game mechanics, improving character movements and gameplay features, while learning how different coding systems work together to bring a game to life.

Consistency is key! ๐Ÿ’ปโœจ
By attending weekly classes, our students gradually build confidence and develop digital skills that can support them in the future ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿš€

Why should children learn coding before using AI? ๐Ÿ’ป

Learning to code before using AI is like learning how to read before writing stories.

When children learn to code first, they understand:
โ€ข how technology works
โ€ข how to solve problems step-by-step
โ€ข how to think logically and creatively
โ€ข how to build and create

Then, when they start using AI tools, they can:
โ€ข create smarter projects
โ€ข better understand what the AI is doing
โ€ข spot and fix mistakes
โ€ข use AI as a tool โ€” without depending on it

AI is powerful, but coding gives children the foundation behind it.

A child who understands coding today could build their own AI tools in the future. ๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿš€

Students 8+ learning Python create clever projects from very simple code.

What starts as a basic counting program can become projects like:
๐Ÿงฎ a calculator
๐ŸŽฎ a simple game
๐Ÿค– a chatbot
๐Ÿ“Š a quiz or score tracker

We help our students to turn their ideas into real projects. Thatโ€™s the power of learning to code โ€” creativity mixed with problem solving.

๐ŸŽฎโœจ Siblings who code together, grow together!
Meet this awesome sibling duo learning how to animate characters with block coding. ๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿš€

The students were bringing characters to life with different movements โ€” making them walk, jump, spin, and disappear using coding blocks. ๐Ÿ‘พ๐ŸŽจ

One block at a time, kids start understanding how animations and games actually work while building creativity and problem-solving skills along the way. ๐Ÿ’ปโœจ

Learning that builds future-ready digital skills ๐Ÿ˜Š

07/05/2026

๐ŸŽฎ Most kids play games, but very few ever get the chance to understand whatโ€™s behind them.

At Skill Samurai, our students learn what it means to go from playing games to creating them. They start to see games differentlyโ€”characters become something they can design, worlds become something they can build, and ideas become something they can bring to life ๐Ÿ’ก

It usually starts small. A simple idea, a bit of trial and error. Then, they start experimenting more, they donโ€™t give up as quickly when things donโ€™t work, and they begin to build real confidence.

Thatโ€™s when learning starts to become skills for the future!
