I feel so honoured to have had PAUL on sound Tuesday night for my show. He was diligent and highly experienced. I heard every word I sang on stage - crystal clear. He was also the DRUMMER on the first two albums for SPLIT ENZ. Absolutely iconic.

TONIGHT WAS AMAZING!!

What a fantastic night at Auckland Jazz & Blues Club! I had an incredible band and I don’t think I’ve ever been the shortest in the band until tonight!

I’m 177cms (5’10) and I’m calling them my, “YOUNG & FREE BAND!”

A beautiful listening audience, and a truly fabulous night of jazz, original music, and various jazz styles of swing, bossa, funk, ballads, and more.

I was even picked up and dropped home again! So very kind and thoughtful. I’ll definitely be back to perform here and was repeatedly told, “Simone we will gladly have you back!”

I absolutely loved everything about the show tonight, and it was the BEST to play with these brilliant guys. They totally brought it!!

What an AWESOME show! I loved every second of it!!

And…I bought the outfit last minute nearby on the North Shore because my SUITCASE DID NOT ARRIVE in Auckland yesterday when I did. The show must go on!
