Provided you’re 16 or over, live mainly in New Zealand, and have a taxable income of $180,000 or less.

You may have stopped your KiwiSaver Contributions or had a break in employment and as a result haven’t contributed the full $1,042.86 between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026. However, there’s STILL time to top up your contribution so as not to miss out on the FULL Government Contribution amount.

If your KiwiSaver Provider makes contact with you to top up your contribution, be aware this can sometimes happen if you’ve changed KiwiSaver providers midway through the year.
