DIY Tip #2: Finding Balance in Bare Feet
Ready for another DIY trick to uncover a potential short leg or small hemipelvis? Let's get started!
Step 1: Ensure your floor is level (use a spirit level if needed).
Step 2: Stand barefoot with your toes pointing straight ahead and your feet about a fist-width apart
Step 3: Close your eyes and remain very still.
Step 4: Pay close attention:
Do you start leaning to one side?
Is there a tendency to fall left or right?
Step 5: Here's where it gets interesting - grab 10 sheets of paper (standard 80gsm paper) and try this:
Place the sheets under the side you're leaning towards. How does it feel?
Then, try the other side. Does it make you feel worse?

🔍 What's it all about? If you notice that adding the paper sheets under one side makes you feel more balanced, it could be an indication of a short leg or small hemipelvis on that side. Your structural difference might be in the pelvis, the leg, or both.

📏 Just a quick FYI: 10 sheets of 80gsm paper roughly equal 1mm.
