Empathy and integrity run deep with Trudy and Anne-Marie, in our claims team.
Because no two claims are the same and at claim time there is stress, vulnerability and uncertainty, Trudy and Anne-Marie start with the most important first step – listening.
As Trudy says “Our approach is centred on being genuinely present for our clients and taking the time to understand what they’re going through. We listen carefully, build trust, and provide support that reflects their individual needs and circumstances. From there, we’re able to advocate for them in a way that is thoughtful and practical.”

Outside of work their personalities are just as strong from Anne-Maries unwavering loyalty to the Springboks to Trudy’s love of grassroots rugby and sport in all forms. That sense of connection, teamwork and loyalty naturally carries through into the way we work together and care for our clients.

Yesterday morning our team came together for a Pink Ribbon Breakfast Morning Tea, and thanks to the generosity of our amazing team we surpassed our $500 goal for this incredibly important cause.
Breast cancer continues to impact thousands of Kiwi families every year. It’s frightening to think that around 10 women are diagnosed every day, and more than 650 people lose their lives annually.
At Penberthy, we believe it’s important to sometimes down tools and take a moment for causes that touch so many lives. Causes that affect families, friends, workmates and communities all around us. Yesterday was about It was about showing support, creating conversation, and standing alongside, in some small way, the many Kiwi women affected.
