One of the best things as a creative is having people around you who are honest.

Yesterday my mate Fin told me the skin tones in one of my grades looked too orange.

At first I was like 😬

Then I got home, reopened the project, and realised he was right.

A lot of people want validation.
Very few people want truth.

But the people who improve the fastest usually have mates around them willing to say:
“Bro… this isn’t it.”

And that matters.

Because creative blind spots are real when you stare at your own work all day.

So here’s the before and after.
