One24 Barrier Cream, like all our products, is 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐢𝐥-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 and 𝟏𝟎𝟎% 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞. But what does that 𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑢𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 mean? 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥 . . .

𝟏. 𝐀 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 is a product applied directly to the skin surface to help maintain the skin's physical barrier, providing protection from irritants and preventing the skin from drying out.
𝟐. Human skin is waterproof. Water-based (emulsion) barrier creams can’t pe*****te it, so must be applied lavishly and regularly (every 2 hours is the standard recommendation). To avoid being rubbed, sweated or washed off they usually include greasy type ingredients that sit on top of the skin for a limited period. Some of these products are also called “petroleum jellies” – not a term to inspire confidence in the health-conscious!
𝟑. One24's plant oil-based products are absorbed into the first two layers of our skin, 𝐬𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟𝐟, meaning no residues (nanoparticles) to pollute the environment. Plus, you don’t get greasy gunk sitting on your skin.

𝟒. Because our plant oil-based barrier cream is absorbed into the skin, most people will need to 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲 𝐢𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞-𝐩𝐞𝐫-𝐝𝐚𝐲. What’s more, you’ll only need to apply it sparingly – a little goes a long way - making it 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 when compared with emulsion-based products.
