Direct Flights to Australia Starting This August!

Sri Lanka is set to launch a historic, direct low-cost air link with Australia through Jetstar Airways this August. Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath announced the landmark move following his official visits to Australia and New Zealand. Headquartered in Melbourne, the budget carrier will operate non-stop flights between Melbourne and Colombo, making travel across the Indian Ocean faster and much more affordable.

This new service is expected to significantly boost tourism, expand trade, and strengthen cultural ties between the two nations.
