Throwback Thursday at Transcold ❄️🚂

Back when refrigeration units were a little heavier, a little louder, and a lot more hands-on, we were out on the ground helping shape New Zealand’s cold chain.

You’d find our team installing Carrier units not just on trailer fleets, but on rail freight wagons moving goods up and down the country, keeping things cool long before today’s technology made it look easy.

As the industry evolved, so did we, moving from those early rail and trailer setups to the smarter, more efficient systems we rely on today. Different tools, same purpose.

50 years on, that original mission still drives everything we do: keeping New Zealand cool, together. Here’s to where it all started, and the gear that got us there. 🙌
