Te Tuhi Creative Community Connection

Bring your well-loved clothing to Te Tuhi for free mending and alterations with the NFACT team.
Part of ‘Kohan Zari Ko’, meaning “turning old to gold”, this ongoing project creates a welcoming space for women from refugee and migrant backgrounds to connect through textile practice, skill-sharing and community.
Visitors are invited to spend time in the space, meet the makers and learn more about the project while repairs are completed.
→ Te Tuhi, 21 William Roberts Road, Pakuranga
→ Every second Thursday, 11am–1pm
→ Upcoming dates: 28 May, 11 June, 25 June
This initiative is led by the New Settlers Family and Community Trust (NFACT) and proudly supported by Arts Out East and Te Tuhi.
