We are pleased to announce that we have started providing appointments for adults and young people 16 years and over, at Man Alive’s premises at 11 Edmonton Road, Henderson. This improves access and availability of services for people in West Auckland and reduces the need to travel into the city for appointments.

Safe Network now offers services for adults at a number of sites across Auckland, including Grafton, Manukau and now, Henderson.

Safe Network staff recently joined a global seminar on the impact of arrests for child sexual exploitation and abuse materials (CSEAM) on non-offending family members. Hosted by David Prescott on behalf of the Safer Society Foundation, Dr Elaine Kavanagh from the Republic of Ireland presented research highlighting the stigma and trauma experienced by family.

Safe Network works with many clients who have engaged in accessing and distributing CSEAM and welcomes this research which will help us strengthen the support we provide to both our clients and their families during very difficult times.

Safe Network wishes all our community a Merry Christmas. The past year has seen us work with over 800 clients and their families, helping them live safer, healthier and more balanced lives.

We want to acknowledge and thank those Government agencies that make this possible through their funding and support, including Oranga Tamariki/Ministry for Children, Department of Corrections and Ministry of Social Development. Without the long-term commitment and support of these organisations, it would not be possible to do what we do.

May Christmas be a time of refreshment, reflection and hope for everyone in our community.

Safe Network offices will all be closed over the Christmas and New Year period from Monday 22nd December 2025 through to Friday 9th January 2026. During this time there will be no one available at any of our offices to take calls or respond to emails.

If you need immediate help or support for a crisis, please contact the most suitable service. The following may be helpful for you.
