It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Helensville Rugby Club Life Member, Malcolm Pickering.

Malcolm’s contribution to our club was extraordinary. As our most capped senior player, he represented the jersey with pride, commitment, and passion over many years, leaving a legacy of loyalty that is embedded in the club.

On behalf of everyone at the club, we extend our deepest condolences to Malcolm’s family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

🇩🇪 Field Closure Notice 🇩🇪

Due to the recent downpours and the games played on Saturday, Field 1 and the surrounding areas are now closed.

Please help us protect our club grounds by staying off the closed areas and making use of the other park facilities and spaces our town has to offer.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

All Friday night Junior Rugby matches will no longer be played this evening, due to the severe weather warnings for the north island. Please share this around and ensure our community remain safe.

Club Announcement 📢

Due to a number of injuries and player unavailability within our Premier squad, the club has made the difficult decision to default tomorrow’s match against East Coast Bays.

We sincerely apologise to East Coast Bays, the union, our supporters, and everyone affected by this decision.

While this is not the position we wanted to be in, it has only strengthened the team’s resolve and determination heading into next week. We look forward to regrouping, getting players back on deck, and returning to the field.
