Central Skin Studio

We’re so excited to officially introduce Spray Tans at Central Skin Studio. 🤎
After plenty of research, we’ve chosen to work with Azure Tan because of its skincare first approach. Their professional tanning solutions are infused with skin loving ingredients and are available in a range of formulas, allowing us to customise your tan to suit your skin tone, desired result and even your lifestyle.
For our clients who are always on the go, exercise regularly or find their spray tan doesn’t last as well, we also have a specialised Firm + Tone formula. It’s designed to perform better on more active skin types while still delivering a beautiful, natural-looking finish.
To help you get the very best results, you can also add our Prep + Lock Upgrade.
✨ Tan Prep helps rebalance your skin’s pH, smooth dry areas and create the ideal canvas for an even application.
✨ Tan Lock is applied after your spray tan to hydrate the skin, minimise transfer during development and help your glow last longer.
If you’ve got a wedding, school formal, holiday or special event coming up, our Full Glow Event Package has everything you need for a flawless finish.
Whether you’re after a subtle sun kissed glow or something a little deeper, we’ll customise your tan to suit you.

Within a corneotherapy approach, microneedling is carefully controlled and works with the skin rather than against it.
When performed correctly and at the appropriate depth, it stimulates the skin’s natural repair response without compromising long-term barrier function.
This controlled stimulation encourages the release of growth factors that help regulate and normalise the skin, while increasing circulation to deliver oxygen and nutrients where they’re needed most. It also supports lymphatic activity, helping the skin clear waste products more efficiently.
Rather than causing unnecessary damage, microneedling is a precise treatment that encourages your skin to repair, regenerate and function more effectively.
Combined with the right home care, including barrier supportive products from Prologic, it becomes a powerful treatment for improving overall skin health, pigmentation, texture and resilience—not just creating collagen.

A beautiful example of how cosmetic tattooing can create balance, definition and shape while still looking soft and natural.
These are the results immediately after the initial tattoo session with Emma. As the brows heal, the colour will soften and settle into a more natural shade, with the final result refined at the perfecting session in 6 weeks.
Every set of brows is carefully mapped and customised to complement your natural features, creating brows that feel like you — just a little more polished.

Think you’ve tried everything for pigmentation?
You might be surprised to learn that some of the most common advice floating around online is actually based on myths.
Pigmentation is complex, and treating it successfully means understanding why it’s there in the first place. Chasing quick fixes, over-exfoliating, or relying on seasonal SPF habits can often make the problem harder to manage.
We’ve rounded up a few of the biggest pigmentation myths we hear in clinic.
Swipe through to separate fact from fiction and learn what really supports healthier, more even-toned skin.
Got questions about your pigmentation? Send us a message or book a consultation — we’re always happy to help.

Pigmentation doesn’t just appear out of nowhere — there’s always a reason behind it.
While sun exposure is often the first thing people think of, pigmentation can also be influenced by inflammation, hormonal fluctuations, heat, oxidative stress, and even a compromised skin barrier.
The tricky part? It’s rarely just one trigger. More often than not, pigmentation is the result of multiple factors working together over time.
That’s why understanding what’s driving your pigmentation is such an important first step. Once we identify the underlying triggers, we can create a treatment plan that supports your skin barrier while working towards a healthier, more even-looking complexion.
When it comes to pigmentation, treating the cause is just as important as treating what you can see on the surface.

Pigmentation is one of the most common concerns we treat, yet it’s often misunderstood. Those sun spots, post-acne marks, patches of melasma, or uneven skin tone all fall under the pigmentation umbrella—but they don’t all develop for the same reason.
Pigmentation is actually part of your skin’s natural protective response. It can be triggered by UV exposure, hormones, inflammation, heat, and even injury to the skin.
The key to seeing results isn’t just treating what you can see on the surface—it’s understanding what’s driving the pigmentation in the first place.
If pigmentation is something you’d like support with, we’re here to help guide you with a personalised approach that’s kind to your skin barrier and focused on long-term results.

A little update from me!
I’m off to Noosa from 6th–20th June to attend the Corneotherapy Conference and Prologic Australia Conference & Awards.
I’ll be enjoying a mix of education and a little holiday time with my husband while I’m away, and I’m looking forward to coming back refreshed, inspired, and with plenty of new knowledge to bring back to the studio.
Emma will be here as usual on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, so you’re in great hands while I’m away. The studio will be closed on the other days of the week so make sure to arrange product/gift voucher pick ups with Emma prior.
If you need to make any changes to your appointment or have any questions, just send the studio a text or email as she will be monitoring these as usual.
I’ll be checking emails when I can, but I’m also planning to take the opportunity to switch off and enjoy some downtime but if you need to contact me for any urgent messages you can email me [email protected]
See you soon! 🤎

Corneotherapy isn’t a trend — it’s a science-backed approach that focuses on supporting the skin where many concerns begin: the skin barrier.
Traditional acne treatments often focus only on targeting bacteria.
Corneotherapy looks deeper at the conditions that allow acne to develop in the first place — things like a compromised barrier, disrupted microbiome, and impaired lipid function.
By focusing on restoring and strengthening the skin barrier, we help create an environment where the skin can function the way it’s designed to.
When we support the skin properly, we can begin to address the cause — not just the symptoms.
If you’re struggling with ongoing breakouts, a skin consultation is the best place to start so we can assess your skin and create a plan that supports true skin health.
