English Café Returns!
On March 25, American Corner Surkhet proudly hosted a vibrant and inspiring session of English Café, filled with energy, learning, and meaningful connections!
We were truly honored to welcome our distinguished guests from the U.S. Education Foundation (USEF), Ms. Shanti Thapa and Mr. Dev Adhikari, whose presence made the session even more enriching and impactful.
The conversation revolved around education and scholarship opportunities, opening doors to new ideas, global perspectives, and future possibilities. Participants actively engaged, shared their thoughts with confidence, and gained valuable insights in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Adding to the excitement, interactive card games brought a fun and dynamic twist to the session—sparking creativity, laughter, and thoughtful discussions, all while strengthening English communication skills.

From Page to Stage!
On March 13th, American Corner Surkhet conducted a vibrant and inspiring Slam Poetry introductory session facilitated by Susmita Giri.
A brilliant collaboration with the Central Department of English at Midwest University and the Student Literary Circle. This high-energy event served as a dynamic stage for talented students from Kopila Valley and SOS Herman Gmeiner, who captivated the audience with powerful and moving live slam poetry demonstrations.
Beyond the artistry, this initiative was a transformative opportunity for young scholars to flourish. By engaging with the spoken word, students didn't just perform; they unlocked essential life skills, sharpening their public speaking, deepening their emotional intelligence, and building a radiant sense of self-confidence. It was a true celebration of creative expression and personal growth.
