I wish there was a way to know you are in the good old days, before you've actually left them.

If doctors continues to be beaten like this on the daily basis in our country. There will be massive brain-drain of highly-qualified doctors to other countries. Soon, there will be shortage of doctors in Nepal. No one will want to work in this scary environment, where you have to focus more on not getting beaten rather than treatment. Eventually no hospital will want admit serious patients because of this. And that will eventually effect the general public. General public must realise this, sooner the better.
