Rural Municipality Level Joint Monitoring Visit was conducted in Budhiganga Municipality of Bajura district, bringing together the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Chief Administrative Officer, representatives from various municipal units, and other like-minded partner organisations working across the project areas.

The joint monitoring team visited several key project interventions, including:
💧 Greywater Collection Pits
🌿 Vermicompost Systems
🐐 Improved Livestock Shed Construction
🚰 Drinking Water Schemes
🌾 Various Climate-Resilient Technologies implemented at the community level.

The visit provided an excellent opportunity to witness the positive changes these interventions are creating in the lives of local communities. Beyond monitoring progress, it served as a platform for meaningful dialogue, knowledge sharing, and identifying opportunities to further strengthen collaboration between the local government, development partners, and community members.

Group of Helping Hands (SAHAS) Nepal organised Annual Review Meeting of the Project, bringing together the project team for learning, reflection, and planning.

The review shared achievements, highlighted best practices, and showcased inspiring local innovations from across the project areas. To make learning more engaging, team members stepped beyond traditional presentations with creative approaches such as mock TV news broadcasts, parliamentary-style discussions, traffic light progress tracking, and media-style panel discussions making knowledge sharing interactive, insightful, and fun.

The meeting also focused on:
✅ Review and refinement of the Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP)
✅ Strengthening financial documentation and accountability
✅ Improving data management and report preparation
✅ Enhancing documentation practices and the effective use of PACDR tools

These discussions have strengthened collective capacity to deliver more impactful, transparent, and accountable interventions for the communities we serve.
