Today, Trishuli Plus Community Action Group (TPCAG), in collaboration with the National Tuberculosis Control Center (NTCC), CCM Nepal, and ACT Nepal, successfully organized the National TB Program, Civil Society & Community Consultation for the Global Fund Grant Cycle 8 (GC8) Funding Request in Kathmandu.
The consultation brought together government representatives, civil society, TB survivors, community leaders, and partners including APCASO to discuss priorities, gaps, and community-led recommendations for strengthening Nepal’s TB response.
The meaningful participation of TB-affected communities and civil society reaffirmed one important message: ending TB is only possible when communities are at the center of decision-making.
Together, we move forward with stronger collaboration, rights-based approaches, and community-driven solutions for an equitable and people-centered TB response in Nepal.Apcaso ACT Nepal -Affected Community by TB Nepal@CCM Nepal

Trishuli Plus is grateful for the opportunity to facilitate a session on community engagement in Tuberculosis (TB) and to share about ACT Nepal (Affected Communities by TB) with 26 Community-Based Organizations working on HIV across 26 districts.
The interaction highlighted the importance of integrating TB into HIV responses, strengthening community voices, and building collective action to ensure no one is left behind. It was encouraging to see strong interest in community-led approaches, collaboration, and meaningful engagement at district and national levels.
Thank you Blue Diamond SocietyNepal for organizing this important platform on 30th December in Pokhara and for bringing together committed CBOs from across the country. Together, we continue to strengthen community engagement for a people-centered TB and HIV response. Stop TB PartnershipApcasoACT Nepal -Affected Community by TB Nepal
