In Loving Memory of Ms. Rebecca Sinha

It is with deep sadness that CMC-Nepal mourns the passing of our former Chairperson, Ms. Rebecca Sinha, on 17 June 2026.

Ms. Rebecca Sinha was a compassionate leader, and dedicated servant of the community. She touched many lives through her kindness, wisdom, and commitment to serving others.

As Chairperson of CMC-Nepal, she provided valuable guidance, encouragement, and leadership. She was admired for her humility, integrity, and genuine care for people. Her contributions helped strengthen our organization and further our mission of serving communities with compassion and dignity.

We are thankful for her life, her service, and the lasting impact she made on the health sector and on countless individuals she taught, mentored, and inspired. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her and in the many lives she touched.
On behalf of the Board, management, staff, and partners of CMC-Nepal, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and loved ones. We keep them in our thoughts and prayers during this time of loss.

May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her life and service continue to inspire us for years to come.

Learning is most powerful when shared.

The Learning Sharing Workshop of the Gender-Based Violence Prevention and Response (GBVPR II) Project supported by UNFPA is currently underway, bringing together teams from Koshi Province and Sudurpaschim Province to reflect on their journeys, share lessons learned, discuss implementation challenges, and explore opportunities for improvement.

The workshop provides a platform to exchange experiences on what worked well, what changes were made along the way, and how these adaptations have strengthened interventions to prevent and respond to gender-based violence.

Supported by UNFPA, this collaborative learning process contributes to stronger, evidence-informed, and more effective programming for lasting impact.
