Fact: Did you know that Mt. Annapurna I was the first peak above 8,000 meters to be scaled by us humans? Climbed by a French expedition group led by Maurice Herzog in 1950, the Annapurnas have since inspired countless adventurers, wanderers and free spirits. Trekking the Annapurna Circuit through the 5,416 metre high Thorung La is still a bucket list item for many.
