 Description
Haleshi is one of the popular temple as the Pashupatinath of eastern Nepal also ancient, holiest and a sacred places among Hindu, Buddhist. It situated at 215 km/7hrs driving journey in Khotang district of Nepal. The Temple is inside the cave which is associated with guru Rinpoche in Buddhism and Lord Shiva to Hinduism. There are several occasion big ceremony goes in temple. Behind the temple, there is a huge natural cave which is capacity of thousands of monks for meditation. There are two big caves in Haleshi which is also famous as Maratika Cave. Near the temple Maratika Monastery lies, which is famous among Buddhist peoples. Mahaguru Sankaracharya from India has furthermore visited this place. People believe that worshipping the God of here fulfill their wishes. Geographers believe that such kind of natural cave in the earth is nearly 60 million years. It shows how antique it is. Every tourist can visit natural beauty here and also enjoy here's culture.

 Route: Via Dhulikhel, Nepalthok, Khurkot all the way to Ghurmi, Okhaldhunga, Jayaram ghat and to Haleshi.

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu
Upon your arrival you will have pre-booked transfer from airport to hotel- Hotel the Art and similar.
Schedule:

The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities

Day 2: Explore Kathmandu valley

Day 3: Check out from the hotel in Kathmandu
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel as per the check-out time and make your way to the Haleshi Mahadev or else you can choose to stay for extra night in Nagarkot or Dhulikhel, which is optional.

Day 4: Discover Haleshi Mahadev Temple, Monastery & cave
After having your breakfast, you will have whole day to decide the itinerary to explore every major attractions in Haleshi at your leisure or to make it more excitement or continue the sightseeing without any disturbance.

Day 5: Drive from Haleshi Temple to Kathmandu
After breakfast, check out the hotel & continues drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 6: Departure to your onward Destination (Optional at extra cost: Everest panorama flight in the morning)
