Trip Overview
The Kailash Manasarovar Yatra is a spiritual pilgrimage to one of the most sacred places on Earth. Over 14 days, travelers journey from Ktm to the sacred lands of Tibet, visiting Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar, revered by Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Bon followers. This Yatra combines spiritual rituals, scenic high-altitude drives, and trekking experiences around majestic Himalayan peaks. Pilgrims perform pujas, trek the Kailash Parikrama, and immerse themselves in Tibetan culture, all under the guidance of experienced local leaders with comfortable accommodations throughout the journey.

Itinerary
Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival (1,300m) – Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and receive a warm welcome from Unique Adventure International Pvt. Ltd. staff. Transfer to the hotel and relax after the journey. Evening dinner and Yatra briefing.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing – After breakfast, explore Pashupatinath Temple, Guhyeshwari Temple, Budhanilkantha, and Boudhanath Stupa. Afternoon free for preparation and orientation for the pilgrimage.
Day 03: Drive to Nepal–China Border (Rasuwagadhi or Kodari) – Drive approx. 6 hours through mountain roads and riverside scenery to reach the Nepal–China border. Overnight stay near the border.
Day 04: Drive to Kerung (2,800m) or Nyalam (3,750m) – Complete immigration formalities, meet the Chinese guide, and continue into Tibet. Check into hotel and rest.
Day 05: Rest Day in Kerung or Nyalam – Light walks and exploration to acclimatize to the altitude.
Day 06: Drive to Saga (4,450m) – Drive about 245 km across the Tibetan plateau, crossing Labung-La Pass (5,050m) and passing Pekhu Tso Lake. Observe nomadic life and arrive in Saga by late afternoon.
Day 07: Drive to Manasarovar (4,558m) – Long scenic drive (~500 km) to H**e village near Lake Manasarovar, offering first views of Mount Kailash. Overnight stay in a traditional mud house.
Day 08: Puja at Lake Manasarovar – Drive to Darchen (4,575m) – Participate in holy rituals at Lake Manasarovar, including a sacred dip and puja, then drive to Darchen, the base for the Kailash Parikrama. Overnight stay in a standard hotel.
Day 09: Trek to Dirapuk (5,000m) – Begin the Parikrama trek of approx. 18 km from Darchen to Dirapuk (6–7 hours). Trail passes cliffs, waterfalls, and stunning views of Mount Kailash. Overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 10: Trek to Zuthulpuk via Dolma-La Pass (5,630m) – Ascend steeply to Dolma-La Pass, the highest point of the pilgrimage. Perform rituals at Shiva-sthal, descend via Parvati-sthal and Gauri Kund, and reach Zuthulpuk Monastery. Overnight stay in a guesthouse.
Day 11: End of Parikrama – Drive to Saga (4,550m) – Complete the final leg of the Parikrama and drive back to Saga via Darchen. Overnight stay in Saga.
Day 12: Drive to Kerung or Nyalam (2,800m–3,750m) – Scenic drive toward the border. Overnight stay in Kerung or Nyalam.
Day 13: Drive to Kathmandu (1,300m) – Complete border formalities and return to Kathmandu. Check into the hotel in the evening.
Day 14: Transfer to Kathmandu Airport – After breakfast, check out and transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport. Yatra concludes with blessings from Lord Shiva.

Visa Requirements:
To process your Tibet Group Visa, a clear color scan of your passport along with 25% advance payment is required. Passport must be valid for at least 7 months from the travel date.

Travel Guidelines
Things You Must Do:

Things You Shouldn’t Do:
• Avoid alcohol and smoking
• Don’t rush; walking too fast causes altitude sickness
• Don’t carry restricted items (images/books of Dalai Lama or political content)
• Avoid dehydration; drink water even if not thirsty
