The Harmony of Drums: Japanese–Newari Cultural Music Fusion 2026, organized by the Nepal Tourism Board in Kathmandu, beautifully showcased the cultural synergy between Nepal and Japan while marking 70 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Artists from Japan’s World U Academy (Hero’s Club) delivered a mesmerizing drum performance, while performers from Nepal Cultural Corporation presented traditional Dhime Baja and Newari cultural music, creating a powerful fusion of rhythms and traditions.

This unique cultural exchange highlighted the deep friendship, mutual respect, and shared heritage between Nepal and Japan. ✨
