India–Nepal Friendship Strengthened Through Healthcare Collaboration

On 24 March, the Ophthalmology Department at Siddhasthali Rural Community Hospital was successfully inaugurated, marking a significant milestone in expanding specialized eye care services for the community.

This department has been made possible through the generous support and donation of respected Mr. Vijay Phalnikar, President of the Vaibhav Phalnikar Memorial Foundation, Pune, India, who not only facilitated the provision of essential ophthalmic equipment but also personally ensured the installation of machines and hands-on training for our team.

This meaningful collaboration reflects the strong and growing bond between India and Nepal in advancing accessible and quality healthcare.
