AC solenoid & Brakes are designed for long life installation. They are being focused on efficient working with minimum maintenance. They are being operated on "fail safe" operations which are electrically released and spring applied.

The torque developed by the brake are in relation to the break wheel which is relatively larger in size. It permits the usage of a large break show lining and lower show pressure. Equally distributing the pressure over a large lining area , results in even braking torque . It also permits the use of smaller operating solenoid that requires less current , which reduces the stress on all the pins , hence increase the mechanical life .
