Today, CRPIN team successfully conducted the orientation program for CIMM-CHW trial , sharing the project details and implementation plan, ways of working and doing right things for broader benefit with participating stakeholders.

Glad to share that for the first time, CRPIIN facilitated an interaction between Health In-Charges of rural municipalities from Morang and Sunsari and officials from the Koshi Province Ministry of Health—creating an important platform for coordination between local implementers and provincial policymakers.

The program was held in the presence of Dr. Yadu Chandra Ghimire-Health Secretary, Dr. Uday Narayan Yadav ( The Australian National University), Policy and Planning Chief ( Dr. Savyata Panthi) , WHO representative, along with other senior ministry officials. Today the CRPIIN team(Majebul Alam and Krishna Yadav) , together with Dr. Uday Narayan Yadav from Australian National University, had a fruitful interaction with the Honourable Health Minister Man Bahadur Limbu.

The discussion focused on strengthening health policy planning, effective implementation, and rigorous evaluation to ensure better health outcomes for communities. It was an encouraging exchange of ideas on how research, policy, and practice can work together to shape a more responsive and evidence-informed health system for Koshi Province, Nepal.

A productive Manual Development Meeting was convened on 11 Jan 2026 under the able chairmanship of the Director, Koshi Province Training Centre, bringing together experts and consultants, clinicians, Ministry of Health officials, Primary Care providers , the Lead Investigator, National Chief Investigators, and the CRPIN team.

The meeting fostered cross-sector collaboration to align technical expertise, policy priorities, and implementation goals—laying a strong foundation for a high-quality, practice-oriented training manual for multimorbidity management.

A collective step forward in strengthening capacity through partnership and shared vision. 🤝

Recent field visits of CRPIN team along with Lead investigator Dr. Uday Yadav to health services in morang and sunsari district provided valuable insights into service delivery, referral pathways, and community engagement.
