Greetings Startup Weekend Trondheim friends and supporters!

Did you know that Startup Weekend Trondheim has been active for over six years, inspired the inception of several successful startups and engaged hundreds of participants —both male and female, ranging in age between 12 and 60. For everyone that has been along for the ride this far, thank-you so much for your support, participation and vision throughout the years!

The Startup Weekend Trondheim organisers firmly believe that Startup Weekend Trondheim has played an important role in our city’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Not to mention, contributing to the vibrancy of local community initiatives, in general. We value these successes, and none of this would have happened without YOU: our volunteers, participants, sponsors, mentors, judges and friends. We wish to thank you, very much, for supporting us through the years.

In the past couple of years there has been an influx of events and activities in Trondheim. Lives are busy, and with the changes in the global “Startup Weekend” ownership model, the existing Startup Weekend Trondheim organisers have decided not to continue organising events under this brand.

Should anyone out there wish to grasp the passing torch and ignite a new series of events in Trondheim, the Startup Weekend Trondheim organisers wish to happily share all knowledge and experience to assist with starting up. Please do not hesitate to contact us!
