To combat deforestation due to the chopping of Christmas trees, the first artificial Christmas tree was made. In the early 19th century, they did not have the same access to plastic and the tree was made from goose feathers. Maybe you could think of a better solution?🪿

Unruly children were such a disturbance during lengthy nativity services in 1670 that the innovative choirmaster at Cologne Cathedral asked a local candy maker to make some 'candy sticks' to keep them in check.🍭🍬
