🇹🇿Empower is collaborating with the coolest organisations such as Environmental Conservation Community of Tanzania (ECCT) ecct_org ! All in an effort to incentivise and improve plastic waste pollution in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. They’re hosting monthly beach clean-ups in collaboration with Empower and other local clean-up organisations. 🇮🇩Indonesia is the biggest archipelago in the world with at least 13500 islands. Meaning that marine debris has become an increasingly important internal problem.

Empower collaborates with OceanKita in several locations in Indonesia, to incentivise the collection and recovery of marine and riverway plastic debris.

🌊OceanKita uses an innovative trawl net to carry plastic-fishing operations offshore of remote islands and incentivize fishermen communities to also collect floating waste in their environment.
