The latest publication in Pluto Press' Overheating book series is now available: 'Climate, Capitalism and Communities: An Antrhopology of Environmental Overheating' explores the contradictions between the imperatives of exponential economic growth, and those of environmental sustainability. Based on ethnographich research from a diversity of places such as the Arctic, Mongolia and Peru, the chapters explore the relations of power that continue to cause ecological crisis and prevent effective action.
