Today is the stop by Fuglen to meet and have a chat with someone you don’t know! Here are a few tips of how to have a good dialogue!

The goal of the day is to encourage more meaningful encounters between people and create space for simple conversations across different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. In a time marked by increasing division and isolation, we want to help create more low-threshold spaces where people can sit down and talk together — ideally with someone they may not know very well already.

Coffee shops are — as we’ve talked a lot about — important everyday meeting places. At the same time, many people sit alone and might wish for more connection with others. By setting aside a visible “dialogue table” for the day, we make it easier for guests to connect with each other and maybe start different kinds of conversations, even among groups visiting together.
