HOW TO COOK BEEF KARE-KARE IN SALADMASTER WOK?⬇️
Craving a rich and creamy Filipino classic? 🥜🥩 This Beef Kare-Kare is packed with tender beef, fresh vegetables, and savory peanut sauce, made easier using the Saladmaster Wok for even cooking and delicious flavor in every bite.
HERE'S HOW ⬇️
🍽 MAKES: 4–6 servings
🥘 UTENSILS:
• Saladmaster 7 Qt. Wok
• Saladmaster Food Processor
• Saladmaster Saucepan or Roaster with Perforated Basket or Culinary Basket (for defatting)
🥗 INGREDIENTS:
• 500 g Beef
• 5 cloves garlic
• 1 whole pumpkin
• 1 onion
• ½ pack string beans
• 2 eggplants
• 2 packs pechay / bok choy
• 2 beef bouillon cubes
• 250 g peanut butter mixed with 1 cup water
• Shrimp paste (optional)
👩🍳 INSTRUCTIONS:
1️⃣ Defat the beef
Place the Perforated Basket or Culinary Basket inside the Saladmaster Saucepan or Roaster. Add water at the bottom, then place the beef inside the basket.
Cover and cook on medium heat until the beef is tender. The excess fat will drip into the water below, helping remove unwanted oil from the beef.
2️⃣ Preheat the Saladmaster Wok, then sprinkle a few drops of water onto the surface. Once the water droplets bead and dance around the wok, it is ready for cooking.
3️⃣ Using the Saladmaster Food Processor, shred the pumpkin using Cone #1 and process the garlic and onion.
4️⃣ Sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
5️⃣ Add the beef and shredded pumpkin into the wok.
6️⃣ Layer the string beans, sliced eggplant, and pechay on top.
7️⃣ Pour in the peanut butter mixture and add the beef bouillon cubes dissolved in 1 cup of water.
8️⃣ Cover and wait for the Vapo-Valve™ to click. Once it clicks, reduce heat to low and cook for 5 more minutes until vegetables are tender.
