Aker BP ASA

Check out Yggdrasil’s Hugin B topside on the move. 💪 This week, the 2500 tonnes topside was safely rolled across the yard and safely loaded onto a barge at Aker Solutions in Verdal. A major milestone for the project.

Hugin B is a normally unmanned installation in the southern part of Yggdrasil, delivered by the Fixed Facilities Alliance between Aker BP, Aker Solutions, and Siemens Energy. Following jacket installation this spring, the topside will soon set sail for the North Sea as the first of three to be installed in the Yggdrasil area.
