When did you join Red October?
There was a gig with some bands in Stavanger that I went to with my Fiancé, and I just happen to come in talk with Sigurd. I didn’t know him back then, and he told me about this band that he was making. He told me they didn’t have a vocalist at the time and I jokingly said to hit me up if he needed one. Later he actually did, and I couldn’t help but say yes, and so it was ment to be 🥰

What are your biggest musical influences and why?
Tough question. I grew up with both Evanescence and HIM and I remember as a teenager I loved the style that Amy Lee had. I still do. She influences me to this day. The melodies I make have roots in both of these bands and some other early 2000’s bands. I was also a very big fan of Avril Lavigne and the music she produced. It touched my soul and I felt familiar with the emotions she sung about.

Which song in the RO set was the hardest to write?
Hellbound Heart. I was really struggling with creating harmonies that I was happy with in that song, so it took alot of time and effort to get it right.

What is your favorite song to perform?
The emptiness I think. It seems to really touch people when we do it live. Plus, I absolutely love Bjørn Harald’s guitar solo in it. Don’t know how many times it has made me cry. It is beautifull!❤️

What is your favorite show that you have played?
Gonna have to agree with Sigurd on this one. Warming up for Evig Natt at Ovenpaa.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not playing music?
Oh ma goodness. I love to climb/boulder, play video games, watch movies/series, sew, and so on. Let’s just say, I have to many hobbies 🙈

What is the worst thing that has happened to you on a gig?
I’m very thorough when it comes to preparing, so I havn’t had crazy things happening, but being so nervous that I forgot how far from my face the microphone was and literally bumped into it with my face so hard your could hear the thud is probably up there 🤣

Have any favorite foods?
Must be a proper piece of steak
