We are pleased to welcome trainees from Yrkeshögskolan Jönköping as they begin their five‑week internship at Kitron.

Their Electronic Technician program prepares students with practical skills in diagnostics, assembly, and testing, and we are proud to provide a real‑world environment where they can further develop these competencies.

Meet Øystein Grødum, a Key Account Manager at Kitron who knows exactly what it takes to perform under pressure. Before joining our team, Øystein spent 13 years as an international speed skater, representing Norway in two Olympic Winter Games.

From the pure excitement of Salt Lake City in 2002 to the high-stakes intensity of Torino in 2006, where he narrowly missed the podium with two 4th-place finishes, Øystein’s journey is a masterclass in resilience.

Today, Øystein brings that same Olympic energy and "constant improvement" mindset to Kitron.
