Watching Eddy Wu’s Immature in a hotel room filled with strangers. An evening program of short movies in the nooks and crannies of Volkshotel. I like the tidal wave of perculiar little stories. And the people roaming through the hallways, wondering which room they’ll try out next.

It’s the third year that I get to teach the art of songwriting. This time, as a way to keep things fresh, the students are coming as duos instead of individually. I like how it aligns with the autumn. There is an eagerness of shedding layers, a readiness to dig deeper. It makes me want to explore too.

What better moment than when stuck next to the road with a flat tire to post about my first knitted sweater! Slightly changed the pattern so the sleeves are gigantic. Cosy. Knitting is the best, or at least one of the best! Also, we’re safe and waiting for the row truck, on our way to play with in Paris!
