CEP at CDPPS 2026 🇪🇺

CEP participated in the 31st Council of Europe Conference of Directors of Prison and Probation Services (CDPPS) in Valletta, Malta, dedicated to “Persons with Specific Needs and Vulnerabilities.”

CEP was proud to see Vice-President Danijela Mrhar Prelić and former Vice-President Iuliana Carbunaru moderating workshops on women in correctional settings and prison-probation cooperation.

Thank you to our Maltese colleagues for their warm hospitality and excellent organisation. CEP looks forward to continuing these important exchanges at CDPPS 2027 in Ireland.

The Probation Board for Northern Ireland(PBNI) has collaborated on a new BBC documentary presented by Carl Frampton, offering a unique insight into probation work and its impact on individuals, families and communities.

The documentary follows Carl Frampton as he explores the challenges of supporting people to move away from offending and break the cycle of reoffending, meeting both probation professionals and those working to rebuild their lives.
