Reversed

Vandaag de b***t aan Sophia. Zij geeft poëtische woorden aan haar zoektocht naar verbondenheid. Het is voor haar een reis met verschillende bestemmingen. Nu hoopt ze te kunnen aarden en haar verbinding met dit land en deze grond te kunnen vinden.

Over een paar weken komt ‘Our Ground’ uit. Voor iedereen te zien, te luisteren en mee te zingen! In de tussentijd deel ik hier alvast wat dit lied en de samenwerking betekent voor ons: de koorleden van Koor Duniya en de muzikanten van Reversed.

Today it’s Sophia’s turn. She puts poetic words to her search for connection. For her this is a journey with several destinations. Now she hopes to root here and find a connection to this land, this ground.

In a couple of weeks ‘Our Ground’ will be released. For all to see, listen and sing along to!
In the meantime I will share with you what this song and the collaboration means to members of Choir Duniya and the musicians of Reversed.

Especially for ‘Our Ground’ Christelle -one of the members of the choir- created a unique design, handmade by calligraphy. I am grateful that yet another member of our beautiful choir was willing to collaborate artistically to the project. You can watch her make one of the multiple designs she had made live and read how she translated the spirit of the song into a graphic design.

Speciaal voor ‘Our Ground’ heeft Christelle -een van de koorleden- een uniek ontwerp gemaakt met kalligrafie. Ik ben dankbaar dat er nog een koorlid uit ons prachtige koor Duniya bereid was om artistiek bij te dragen aan dit project.
