Mother’s Day in Europe is not a single date ❤️

Depending on the country, it is celebrated on different days — most often in May, but not always.

🇷🇴 Romania – second Sunday of May
🇺🇦 Ukraine – second Sunday of May
🇳🇱 Netherlands – second Sunday of May
🇩🇪 Germany – second Sunday of May
🇪🇸 Spain – first Sunday of May
🇧🇪 Belgium – second Sunday of May (in most regions)
🇵🇱 Poland – 26 May
🇫🇷 France – last Sunday of May (sometimes early June)
🇸🇪 Sweden – last Sunday of May

For many people living and working abroad, it also means being far away from family on days that are emotionally important. Not always being able to celebrate in person or give a simple hug to your mother 🤍.
