Bodies of 20 OFWs Arrive from Kuwait as 328 Workers Repatriated..

The remains of 20 overseas workers ( ) from arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 on Wednesday morning, April 15, aboard Kuwait Airways, alongside 328 repatriated workers.
They were received by officials from the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
At the airport’s cargo section, a priest led prayers and blessed the remains, offering solemn rites for those who died while working in the Middle East.
The DMW has not disclosed the causes of death, though reports confirm fatalities amid recent regional conflict.
Based on reports, the 20 OFWs died in separate incidents on different dates, while the rest reportedly passed away due to natural causes.
Meanwhile, an OWWA officer confirmed that the 20 human remains are not related to the Middle East conflict.
Families have requested privacy as they mourn the loss of loved ones who sought better opportunities abroad but instead met tragedy.
