We are proud of the sustainable progress that the transportation industry has achieved this year. Especially with the rise of electric trucks and engineless cool trailers entering the market, we are hopeful about the future of environment-friendly vehicles on the roads. It is also an honor to contribute to the decarbonisation mission ourselves.

In 2022 alone, the NomadPower electric chargers consumed more than 825,000 kWh instead of polluting the air. Saving more than 256,000 liters of diesel and preventing more than 570 tonnes of CO2 from getting into the atmosphere. An amount of CO2 that would take 26,000 trees to absorb in a year. This is almost 150% more than our accomplishments in 2021.

In 2023, we will continue pursuing our goal of expanding our charging network within Europe and spreading green power to everywhere we can. We are always open for potential partnerships and projects, so don’t hesitate to contact us if you have an idea!

The European Commission has introduced new measures that truck parks need to comply with in order to obtain necessary assessments and certifications. These are in alignment with the Mobility Package, which are the newly approved rules aiming to enhance the working conditions of drivers, avoid illegal activities in road transport, procure fair competition, and ensure equal pay.

Here are the five main measures that the EC will require from truck parks:

☑️ Gender-friendly sanitary facilities
☑️ Communication connections
☑️ Availability of emergency contact points and procedures
☑️ Power supply
